What is an "off-site built" home?

Founded in 1954, Ritz-Craft specializes in "systems built homes" that are custom built "off-site" in one of five climate controlled facilities. These homes are then transported to the site and erected by a partner builder.

When building a "systems built off-site home" we break everything down into a system: floors, walls, ceilings/roofs, plumbing, electrical, etc. Subsequently, using the latest computer aided 2-D and 3-D drafting methods and modern high-tech fastening systems, we precision engineer those systems in modular sections.

Building homes off-site in modular sections offers many advantages over conventional site-built construction methods, including superior construction capabilities, cost-effectiveness, convenience and unsurpassed quality control. In fact, our quality assurance process includes third party inspection with 25 individual checkpoints.

Ritz-Craft incorporates and has many available GREEN friendly materials, processes and options to save energy and recycle materials.
